The purpose of The Democratic Club of Manteca is to advance the goals of the Democratic Party, support its candidates and serve our local community.   The Club promotes social programs, labor unions, consumer protection, workplace safety regulation, equal opportunity, disability rights, racial equality, regulations against environmental pollution, and criminal justice reform.   The Club also supports Democratic elected officials and candidates for office by phone banking, fund raising, displaying campaign posters and other media, registering voters  and candidate recruitment for local office.  Club members can support the local community by volunteering to provide upkeep for public areas, serving on local boards and commissions and donating time to or fund raising for local charities.
